The main difference between a catamaran and a traditional sailboat, is that the catamaran is balanced on two hulls. This means more space, more comfort and greater stability. The interior of a catamaran is much larger and allows more freedom of movement and the cabins are more spacious. People often choose a catamaran because they want to have a comfortable and more “stable” cruise.

Another fundamental difference: the catamaran sits "on" the water, while the sailboat sits "in" the water, thus the sailboat splits the water while the catamaran sails effortlessly across it. The catamaran remains straight (little to no heeling) and does not give the feeling of being inclined, it rides higher, you can enjoy the scenery and it has increased ventilation.

Catamarans have 2 hulls and sit up-right in the water, they don't lean/heel/tip over like traditional monohull sailboats. They are wide and stable and provide a comfortable ride across the water. This doesn't mean that you won't feel the ocean, we will rock a little and waves may occasionally splash across the front of the boat, but you won't be leaning over to one side trying to stay up-right. Having said that, if you are prone to motion sickness, we advise you to take medication 8 - 12 hours PRIOR to getting on the boat and bring enough medication if you are spending more than a few hours with us.
Gratuity is not included in the price of a charter. If you've enjoyed your experience, tips for our hard working crew are greatly appreciated! Gratuity aboard a charter boat works similarly to restaurant gratuities and ranges from 15-20%. All tips allocated will be shared equally amongst our staff.
Yes; you are more than welcome to bring both food and beverages, but please be reasonable. If you are looking to get wasted on a boat then our trips are not for you. If you are under 21, you may not consume alcohol on board our vessel. We provide a refrigerator and cooler for our guests to use aboard every trip. Due to the nature of a boat we ask that you limit glass if possible. If you bring a glass bottle on board, please let our crew know so they can store it properly and ensure the safety of the bottle, and you, during your voyage.
Yes! However toilets on a boat are very different than the normal toilets you have at home. NOTHING that has not gone through your body should go into the toilet! This includes: No toilet paper, NO tissues, NO feminine products, etc. NOTHING that you have not personally digested. Clogging a toilet on a boat is a big deal and can cause major problems for all guests. We suggest that you to try use a restroom prior to boarding. If you do need to use the head, just ask a member of our crew and they will instruct you on how to you our composting toilets. Remember - only human waste goes in. Thank you!
No, for the safety and comfort of our guests we do not allow smoking on board.

Unfortunately, no. We do not allow pets onboard the boat. this is for the safety of the pets as well as the passengers.

While we cannot guarantee dolphin or wild horse sightings, as we are viewing these wild animals in their native habitats, we usually do see numerous dolphin pods on our charters. It is up to these amazing animals to determine how close or how far they stay from the boat. We are always respectful and practice safe and considerate standards of viewing.

We try to schedule the sunset sails so that you always get a great view of the setting sun. Depending on the time of year and daylight savings time, the sun will set at different times.

There are no refunds for missed sails. If you are not at the boat at the time of departure , we reserve the right to cut the cruise short or to cancel. We cannot hold the boat for people running late as we often have a tight schedule. Parking at the marina can be difficult in the summer. Please allow enough time to park and get to our dock.

While boat shoes are not required, we do recommend you wear comfortable shoes and strongly advise against wearing heels. We also recommend NOT wearing dark soled shoes as they can mark up and leave streaks on the deck. White or light soled shoes are best. Barefoot is highly recommended.
